"Art of the Hike" began as Fred would put down his backpack and pick up his paints and brushes. Many of the paintings you will see are inspired from the trails and vistas on his hikes.

Primarily working in acrylic, the pieces included in this series range from medium to large scale and are all created using our own hiking photographs and drawings as reference. Through Art of the Hike we  share these breathtaking views with you and inspire those who wish to have adventures of their own and witness the beauty and peace that the Mountains have to offer. It is our hope that while taking in the work that the viewer, even if just for a moment, will feel surrounded by the tranquility of nature and can share in the experience. 

The studio is located in a small town along Bear Brook State Park, NH.
